Turkey blast: Islamic State bomber kills over 30

A terrorist act was committed in Turkey, in the city of Suruc, near the border with Syria. More than 30 people were killed and over 100 were injured when an 18-year-old suicide bomber exploded herself during a meeting.
According to preliminary data, the bomber was a member of the Islamic State extremist group.

The attack was committed during the meeting, at which Turkish Kurds gathered before going to Syria to struggle against the Islamic State.

Turkish President Erdogan expressed his condolences to those who were killed in the blast, saying that "terrorism had neither religion nor nationality.
