The deal on the Iranian nuclear program has been signed. The Islamic republic has agreed to restrain its nuclear plans, while the West promised to ease sanctions against the country. This was the result of 18 days of talks in Vienna. Most of Iran's uranium enrichment facilities will be suspended during ten years, while the International Atomic Energy Agency will watch how Iran abides by the new obligations.

For Russia, such a turn of events will mean the appearance of a large oi land gas player on the oil and gas market. Thus, there will be no nuclear neighbor near Russia's borders. Plus, Iran has shown that even long-standing sanctions come to an end sooner or later.
