A one hundred year old treasure trove of Art Works in "Pastel" from 1920, that my beloved grand auntie, Doña, María Vázquez Federico de Cervantes Ochoa; Artist, Ultra Intellectual and Philanthropist, gave me around 1976, when I was fourteen years of age, as a gift for my appreciation of Art and Beauty.
Entrusting me with the care and preservation of these irreplaceable works of art through the decades; artististic gems of her youth in the early part of the Twentieth Century at "Escuela Normal, Teachers College, Hermosillo, Sonora, Republic of Mexico.
This year I shall have them professionally treated to preserve the "Pastel" colors and professionally framed with protective glass.
I will exhibit them next year at the Leonora Carrington Gallery at the S.R.E. Mexican Consulate in Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A. As part of Gala Cervantes Imperial Arts Festival 2022.
An Imperial Gala to remember! That I am sure my auntie, María would of adored.
