Perhaps it is no secret to anyone that Ukraine is standing on the verge of great changes, but now the question arises of what changes they will be exactly. Will this country find a new president, come into a coalition with Russia, or prefer an association with the European Union? The presidential election will take place in the country in 2015. One of the main contenders for this position is Dr. Iron Fist, world boxing champion Vitali Klitschko. His chances are rated as very good, but there are certain obstacles for the athlete to take office as president. The law of Ukraine stipulates a presidential candidate should live in the country for as many as ten years, with a possibility of going abroad for no more than 180 days a year in total. Vitali Klitschko has been living in Germany for 15 years already, paying taxes there as well.

Yet, many do not even believe that the creation of the opposition coalition in Ukraine is possible at all.

Vadim Kolesnichenko, Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Party of Regions

"No sensible person can believe and will never believe statements from the Ukrainian opposition. They have never nominated their candidate. The same can apply to the campaign in 2015. Representatives of the parties say that they are running independently, and this is quite obvious, because everyone has different sponsors, so such statements are not taken seriously."

Now everyone wonders whether Ukraine is going to have another Maidan, this time in support of Klitschko specifically?

Andrey Shevchenko, first deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights

"I do not want to predict possible mythical scenarios. We are facing a huge threat of a split in Ukraine now, and the reason for the split is the actions of the authorities."

In any case, it is obvious that the presidential race in Ukraine has already begun and the circle of favorites has been shrinking rapidly. So who will strike the final and most destructive blow?
