Covid-19 infections are rising among young adults because the experts, the media and the politicians told them than they're not in danger, which was a lie.
The virus won't magically go away, it will stay here with us just like HIV did.
There is no guarantee that a vaccine or a cure will ever be available.
All we can do is to adjust our way of life.
We need to avoid unnecessary gatherings like: parties, bars, concerts.
We also need to wear a mask to protect others from our saliva (when we can't keep a 2 meter distance).
If everyone starts wearing a mask (where it's necessary), keep a distance and wash their hands then we can beat this.
Otherwise, unfortunately, our governments will enforce more lock-downs.
