A 4 year old boy fell into the habitat where Gorillas live at the Cincinnati Zoo on Saturday, May 28.
In the interest of saving the boy's life, zoo personnel shot and killed the male Gorilla, Harambe, who had taken an interest in the boy.
Critics took to Twitter and Facebook to plead their case that the boy's parents were responsible for the "murder" of Harambe. Some went further to say that the 4 year old boy should have been left to die so that the Gorilla would not have to be put down.
Justice for Harambe apparently means that critics believe an animal's life comes before that of a human.
