From Pete (History Time; masters in History) and his brother David (professional actor, trained in London), Voices of the Past is an attempt to tell the story of our species through the written accounts of the very people who lived through it.

From the political speeches of Ancient Rome to the epic chronicles of Early Medieval warrior kings ruling over the ashes of the empire. From heartfelt Twentieth Century war diaries to the earliest accounts of explorers braving the unknown lands beyond the horizon, Voices of the Past aims to bring history alive by reconstructing genuine historical Primary Sources to a soundtrack of rousing and atmospheric music.

Join us as we introduce the stories of both the great figures of history and the lesser known witnesses of great events. We do this not through the analysis of modern historians, but through the words written and the speeches dictated by these figures themselves.
