Can songs, in the ideological sense, be baptized? Captain Hogcurl thinks so.

“We’re taking Communist propaganda songs and fixing them,” Hogcurl says. “Seven songs, mostly from the People’s Republic of China, form the basis for our [forthcoming] concept album.”

The project began “as kind of a joke” but then grew from there.

In addition to the seven songs which form the basis for the project, there’s also a forthcoming original musical take on The Divine Mercy Chaplet (coming late January 2023) and an EDM take on an original liturgical setting for Lamb of God (coming 2023). 

“Songs can inspire, teach, and influence,” Hogcurl says. “We hope that’s the case with this project - to bring people closer to Christ and his Church.”
