A parody of the popular wartime song of "We're Gonna Hang Out the Washing on the Siegfried Line", it was produced in 1940 after the Germans heard the tune from British radio stations in France. Taking a liking to the song, they too would sing the original as well as the parody which became popular for a short time. The pictures depicted represent the stages of the war as well as the banter the Germans were having with the British by producing this tune. I'm not sure if the German version was produced before or after the fall of France, as there's no mention of when it was made on the internet aside from the year 1940.
