In this video, I refute the claims made by Jason Reza Jorjani that the contemporary Iranians harbour significant foreign ancestry. My analysis here shows that there is a great degree of genetic continuity in Iran since the Iron Age, with the majority of the foreign ancestry coming from either an Ancient Hellenic or Caucasian source, with very little Arabian, Gypsy, and Medieval Turkic ancestral heritage. Though, the Azerbaijanis do show elevated Medieval Turkic ancestry. These autosomal breakdowns were done using Davidski's G25 on the Genoplot site.
