The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation filed a criminal case into the genocide of the Russian-speaking population on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk republics. According to law enforcement authorities, the Ukrainian leadership, militants of the Right Sector movement and the National Guard were giving orders aimed at the destruction of Russian-speaking citizens. Kiev affirms that everything that happens in the Donbass region is an internal affair of the country.
