Ukrainian troops kill Russian photo reporter Andrei Stenin

Russian photo reporter Andrei Stenin was killed. According to investigators, the reporter died about a month ago. Numerous events were held in Moscow and across Russia to rescue the missing journalist. Until today, the Kiev government was providing conflicting information about his whereabouts. Kiev officials would confirm and then deny information about Andrei Stenin's captivity.

Not that long ago, several burnt cars were found on the road near the town of Snezhnoye. The remains of Andrei Stenin were reportedly found in one of the vehicles. Fragments of Stenin's photographic equipment, accreditation and his ID were found on the site. Investigators believe that the car was shelled and then burnt. Officials at the Russian Foreign Ministry called the incident barbarism. Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed condolences to the family and friends of Andrei Stenin.
