๐Dr, Joel Brown, shares his truth about how once a kind-hearted and gentle man, he was transformed into an angry and bitter person. He found himself at odds with most white people, even those who meant well. His anger and embrace of race theory slowly overtook him when the Black Lives Matter protests engulfed society. Angrily he became the embodiment of his ideology, which further fed his despair.
As a result, he became increasingly cynical and filled with bitterness and resentment over racism and what white people have done to black people.
Entirely overtaken by (CRT) Critical Race Theory, he confesses he lost friendships, strained familial relationships, and, ultimately, His faith. He was led into nihilism and believed life no longer had meaning. Even despairing about life, he began to return to God. At first, he tried to maintain the competing ideologies of his Christian faith while viewing the world through the CRT lens. Finally, he decided he could not preserve competing worldviews and rejected today's Critical Social Justice outright.
He encountered God in a beautiful way and now completely transformed, he has gratitude, joy, and thankfulness to God for all He has done. Dr. Brown says he now loves everybody regardless of skin color and indicates CRT is a destructive, reductive, and oversimplified ideal to solve the problems of injustice.
He now shares with whoever will listen that God has a better way than the Marxist theories that do not work.
