6/8/21 Hesperia, CA Members of We The People Rising, The Remembrance Project, America First Latinos and Concerned Citizens met with the staff member of GOP Congressman Jay Obernolte to tell him to stand up and fight back against Biden and his open border policies. A letter signed by constituents requesting that Congressman Obernolte cosponsor Kate's Law, was presented.. Congressman Mo Brooks, of Alabama, is the author of the house bill, which is a companion bill to Senator Ted Cruz's Senate bill. Kate’s Law increases penalties for illegal aliens who reenter America after being deported or denied entry. The bill is named in honor of Kate Steinle who was gunned down by an illegal alien in front of her father in San Francisco.
