"Canada is not going to escape the economic collapse, it's just a question of how severe it will be for the average Canadian. Additionally, how will governments react? With the rise of the far-left NDP in the polls, I'm sure we can expect the same kind of government intervention into the marketplace that the Chinese are currently doing. Of course, the only real problem plaguing the economy is the monetary system itself. Get rid of this debt-based fiat digital system, and allow Canadians to voluntary exchange with each other without the rules and regulations of busy-body bureaucrats.... if we allow all that, then this economic depression will be over sooner than later. And who knows, maybe the result of letting Canadians produce value for each other will be less reliance on having crony-capitalists exploit and export our natural resources."
