Ahead of a new documentary for UK broadcaster Channel 4, researchers have released images of a facial reconstruction for the ancient human remains known as 'Cheddar Man'. Alongside this has been a relentless media narrative relating Cheddar Man to the politics of our present day.
In this video we examine some of the announced findings of the research time and deconstruct the approach of the media to this story.
