Evidence suggests that one reason movies such as The Matrix trilogy, V for Vendetta, Watchmen, and others have made so much money at the box office is because filmmakers have purposely implanted Dionysian messages in them. For example, in V for Vendetta, Evey just happens to clean a mirror that says “Vi Veri Vniversum Vivus Vici.” Why is this significant? Translated from the Latin, it says “By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe,” and although the motto is attributed to Faust, it was actually one of Aleister Crowley’s favorite maxims.
