According to the Eurasia Group, the world in 2018 will be ripe for an "unexpected crisis" that will rival the 2008 financial market collapse.
The liberal group blames President Donald Trump for failing to provide adequate global leadership, which has allowed the “global order” to unravel. This could well lead to China filling the alleged leadership vacuum, or a “technological cold war.”
