North Carolina DOT bullied by the SELC is now dredging for the ferries but not the bridge/roads

These people are unbelievable. Derb Carter of the SELC is trying to act like the SECL didn't sue the government to prevent them from building a bridge. All Derb ever does is lie. It would be political suicide to outright oppose the bridge to an Islan so what the SECL cleverly did was oppose it in favor of a much much bigger and more expensive long bridge that would take the entier DOT budget of ten years to build and would take too long to build instead. This way they can say they were for "a" bridge yes one that they damn well knew would not and could not ever be built and that no one wants and that is not necessary. The reality is they wanted no bridge at all which is how it is right now and the SECL is trying to spin away the backlash as it has come out that the DOT couldn't start on the short bridge because of their frivolous law suits. Do not give any money to the Southern Environmental Law Center.
