Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us, the sinners. Have mercy on us for the lies we tell, have mercy on us for the war we wage. Have mercy on us for the hate we feel, have mercy on us for the coldness of our hearts. Have mercy on us for our lack of charity, have mercy on us for passing by those in need. Have mercy on us for the idols we’ve made, have mercy on us for our negligence. Have mercy on us for our ignorance of Your commandments, have mercy on us for our ingratitude towards them. Have mercy on us for how we treat others to their faces, have mercy on us for how we treat them behind their backs. Have mercy on us for leading others astray, have mercy on us for the time we spend in idleness. Have mercy on us for the words we speak, have mercy on us for the thoughts we think. Have mercy on us for the wrath of our hearts, have mercy on us for the lust of our loins. Have mercy on us for our doubts and unbelief, have mercy on us for our lack of mercy on others. Have mercy on us for the pain we cause, have mercy on us for the vengeance we take. Have mercy on us for what we put in our bodies, have mercy on us for what we put in our minds. Have mercy on us for the judgment we cast, have mercy on us for the stones we throw. Have mercy on us for our disobedience, have mercy on us for our indifference. Have mercy on us for our ruthlessness, have mercy on us for our greed. Have mercy on our us for our selfishness, have mercy on us for our pride. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Both now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
