No trial, no test, no tribulation is ever too much or too big to handle for the believer. The Messengers were tested, the righteous before us were tested and we, the believers will also be tested and inflicted with trials.
When one is inflicted with trials they must come with patience and steadfastness, they must put their full trust in Allāh. You must remain patient over death, patient over calamities, and patient upon that which Allāh has decreed.
You must accept these trials and be patient upon them.
وعن أبي سعيد وأبي هريرة رضي الله عنهما عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "ما يصيب المسلم من نصب ولا وصب ولا هم ولا حزن ولا أذى ولا غم، حتى الشوكة يشاكها إلا كفر الله بها من خطاياه" [متفق عليه]
Abu Sa'id and Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنهما. reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Never a believer is stricken with a discomfort, an illness, an anxiety, a grief or mental worry or even the pricking of a thorn but Allah will expiate his sins on account of his patience".
