I was out on my bike on the North Pennines and was reminded of the story of a phantom rider that was often seen around these parts. It was rumoured that he was murdered, but the apparition that folk report seeing would suggest it was an accident. County Durham has some pretty great ghost stories, I hope you enjoy.
