This is a fairly unknown story surrounding the Grey Lady of Dryburgh Abbey Hotel. A bereaved woman that saw her lover hanged and has since haunted the grounds of the Hotel and the Abbey. The Abbey is also the burial place of Sir Walter Scott and Field Marshall Haig.
