Chicano Park in San Diego was occupied in 1970 by a cult-religious group of radical, reconquista Chicanos, who see the site as a holy, re-conquered part of Mexico, the Nation of Aztlán.
It is a center for Amerind religious ceremonies, which violates the law and the Constitution. However, politicians and bureaucrats continue to give this Chicano-nationalist park millions of tax dollars.
