Troops and security personnel flooded into Washington D.C in preparation for the inauguration. The total number of them is 25,000 which exceeds the total number of U.S. troops stationed in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. Furthermore, each soldier has to be vetted by the FBI, not once, but twice sometime three times!
Congress, and the Supreme Court added guardrails, surrounded by electrified barbed wire, to keep people away. But looking at the photos, doesn't it look more like a prison?
On January 17, someone found errors in Google Translate that it would translate the English words "China breaks promise" into “China faithfully keeps promises” in Chinese. However, when the subject is changed to the “United States”, the translation is completely accurate.
