On being a former homosexual
"One thing I knew when I was involved in homosexuality, and I was involved in homosexuality for nearly 20 years -- I was with one woman for fifteen years. I lived most of my adult life as a man. But all of the years I was involved in homosexuality, I never experienced peace. And one thing about legislation -- you can't legislate peace. Peace comes from Jesus Christ..."


On lobbying our state lawmakers
"I have never seen such lawlessness and such arrogance and such pride and such deception that has befallen on legislators and lawmakers.. and then because they are operating in deception they stand before us with pride and arrogance as if we are the ones being deceived..."
