Pfizer Vaccine approved for Australian roll out.
Brand name: Comirnity. Generic name: Tozinameran.
A summary of the video:
1. I am generally pro vaccination. In fact I just had my youngest daughter vaccinated up to date last week on the usual schedule of vaccinations.
2. I want nothing to do with this Pfizer treatment. Even those who want to get it are wanting to wait a few years to observe any complications first.
3. In the USA it is indeed an 'experimental' vaccine in that the FDA has not approved it, but issues an Emergency Use Authorisation (EUA). This is all over the Pfizer website PDFs which are handed out to patients and doctors. In fact the doctor information sheet requires doctors to communicate to each patient that this product it NOT authorised by the FDA.
4. The Australian TGA gave it 'provisional approval' for those 16 years and older, and only for 2 years at this stage.
5. It is the first mRNA product on humans, a novel way of inserting 'instructions' into a cell to create the spike protein in COVID-19 itself to stimulate an immune response (as opposed to traditional vaccines which insert a weakened/crippled form of a virus).
6. It does not alter your DNA (from what I've widely read from many experts, and I tend to agree they are trustworthy on this point).
7. There is no aluminium or other adjuvents (immune stimulants). There is sugar as a preservative, salt, and lipids to encase the mRNA package to protect it and insert it into cells.
