Debunking Egalitarianism

UPDATE: Seeing a lot of comments where people are confused regarding how a society can be just and free without equal rights. There are two kinds of rights, often called "negative rights" (things people can't do to you) such as the right to life, liberty, personal property, etc; and there are "positive rights" (things the government provides) such as voting rights, which the government can restrict, such as demanding that men register for the draft to vote. These positive rights are never universal (for example, men who aren't registered for the draft, children, and felons cannot vote), and should not be granted via adherence to some qualifying standard. The granting of these positive rights in the name of "equal rights" is a blatant demonstration of equality of outcomes.
In short, I favor a society that grants equality before the law, and equal opportunity, but NOT equal rights or equality of outcomes.

NOTE: I realize that many people who call themselves Egalitarian simply believe in equal rights and opportunity, but not equality of outcomes (aka political, social, and economic equality). Well I hate to break it to you cupcake, but giving people equal RIGHTS (particularly voting rights) ensures that the government will in-turn move to promote equality of outcomes in a democratic system.
