The US is moving toward putting "boots on the ground" in Iran, and this almost certainly means more death, destruction, and misery for the people living in the country. We've seen what boots-on-the-ground meant in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam. These wars were devastating, and Iran will be no different.
