Order out of chaos
Order From Chaos
Ordo ab chao (Latin)
Is a term used in secret societies, which is a 2 sided term meaning you must cause chaos in order to bring order. A representation of this is the Phoenix Rising From The Ashes.
The other meaning for it, is that Order Out Of Chaos refers back to Duality, Light Vs. Dark, Yin and Yang, etc. which is common in Freemasonry/Shriners/OES and other secret societies.
Duality also has to do with Bophamet the pagan god, whom is represented as a goat man holding up one light Cresent Moon and one Dark Cresent Moon. While having a mounted torch above its head.
The torch is a reference to the light bearer and fallen angel "Lucifer/Heylal/Satan" which they all worship.
In freemasonry you are told you are seeking for a light when you join, many believe its the light of God, yet until you reach the highest degree (rank) you only then come to find out the light is that of Lucifer...
