Recent advancements being made in human/nonhuman chimera research.
For the first time, researchers have successfully grown human cells inside early-stage pig embryos in a lab, creating pig-human hybrids, which the researchers describe as inter-species chimeras.

The concern I have with this... and many others im sure, is the significant ethical issues involved with these types of experiments. These US researchers that are behind it all, have claimed that more than 150 of the human/hybrid pig embryos developed into chimeras. According to the guardian, these things are kept alive for about 28 days as embryos and then they are terminated, however, it looks like they are pushing for more lengthy trials, potentially keeping these things alive long enough to grow human organs for the humans people that need it.

it is also entirely unclear what types of new psychological characteristics could be present in these creatures which now have Human cells. their self admitted goal here, is to create a biological human organ farm, by using hybrid pig humans as surrogate organ farms. The idea of having an animal being born composing of human cells is just crazy and absolutely bizarre.
