Basilico's Pasta e Vino has been a staple local neighborhood Italian restaurant in Huntington Beach, CA since 1999, when founder Rosemarie created and introduced her original recipes, and traditional home-style rustic Italian cooking to Orange County.

Three obvious things stand out about Basilico’s Pasta e Vino: the food is delicious, the line-ups are considerable, and no one is wearing a Fauci/Newsom mask. You read that right. No masks allowed. Mr. Roman refused to lock down his establishment since March 19, 2020, and will not permit customers to wear a mask upon entry.

That decision earned him opprobrium (including more than one death threat) but mostly high accolades from ordinary people who drive from hundreds of miles around who are sick of the tyranny behind the scamdemic.

His restaurant has remained packed despite a direct challenge from CA Governor Gavin Newsom and the liquor board. And everyone is smiling broadly, laughing, and enjoying the rustic Italian cuisine made famous by Tony Roman and his mother Rosemarie.
