Reies Tijerina was a revolutionary activist in New Mexico during the 1960's. He is called one of "Four Horsemen," which are considered the founders of the radical Chicano Movement which had it's hay day in the late 1960's and 1970's, but live on as part of the "La Raza" movement. In this clip he lays out his racialist vision for the American Southwest and the entire Western Hemisphere being dominated by a new, brown Race (La Raza). This clip is a excerpt from a speech made at UCLA on May 9, 1969.

Tijerina cites Jose Vasconcelos as the inspiration for his vision. Vasconcelos developed a Nazi-like racialist theory for the mestizo race in his book, La Raza Comica, published in 1925. He was a Nazi sympathizer and a paid Nazi propagandist during the 1930's and WWII.
