Two Russian-made Su-24 front-line bomber aircraft were spotted in Libya yet again. The video, which captured the flight of the planes, was posted by the Information Bureau of the High Command of the Libyan National Army of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar on its YouTube channel.
The description to the video says that the Sukhoi Su-24 aircraft took part in large-scale exercises of the 106th armored brigade of the Libyan National Army in the Libyan desert. The footage shows the two bombers dropping ammunition at low altitude. During the exercises, the LNA units also used Russian Mi-24 helicopters, tanks and howitzers.
The planes shown in the video are still painted in the gray and white colors of the Russian Aerospace Forces, unlike the camouflage-painted bombers, which had been delivered to Libya and Syria in the past. The only identification marks that can be seen on the Su-24 aircraft indicate their affiliation to the LNA.
