We heard on the grapevine, that a controversial and exclusionary Australia Day ad, that had been taken down in Melbourne, was being displayed on the Canberra Theatre Centre, with encouragement from Shane Rattenbury (Also a big supporter of Safe Schools in the Australian Capital Territory)
I thought the Arts were meant to be diverse, would be boring if all the shows were the same.
My objection is pretty simple... there are 2 of just 1 religious group representing the entire Nation and its meant to be about all Australians.
We are a diverse country, an overseas visitor seeing that representation of Australia Day, would think we lived in an Islamic State.
Others have their own reasons that is my main one.

Canberrans might want to ask where the money came from for this monstrosity?? Not from the Gofund Me campaign as you'll see in the newspaper extract.
