China, Russia, and Iran conducted trilateral naval drills in the strategic Strait of Hormuz amid reports that the U.S. is preparing to attack Iran. Should a war break out between the U.S. and Iran, China and Russia will not only play a key role as members of the UN Security Council, but also as close allies to Tehran.
