This librarian called the police because I told her the First Amendment overrides her petty library rules against taking video. I was there to check out the site where a Drag Queen Story Hour was going to take place the next Tuesday and mentioned that I planned to take video. She said their rules prohibit it. I told her I don’t need their permission. I didn’t take any video before the cops arrived or cause any other disturbance, so I had not even broken her rules, yet. I was already on my way out when the cops came and she pointed me out. I turned around to take video of the encounter with the cops. One threatened to arrest me if I didn’t leave and said I would be arrested if I came back. The Drag Queens have an absolute perverse right to indoctrinate kids into their sexual agenda, but we cannot even exercise our basic constitutional rights in Chula Vista. The police called for advice and apparently found out I was within my rights and they left. The Drag Queens will be indoctrinating the kids in a large windowless auditorium, apparently behind closed doors with no open opposition and no recording by ordinary citizens allowed.
