Moreover, India refused to help Japan deliver goods to Ukraine. My friends, it looks like Washington's hopes to sabotage the relationship between Moscow and New Delhi have gone to pieces. As it turned out, even US promises to help India with weapons, technology, and supplies of American oil did not force India to refuse cooperation with Russia. Even the threat to impose sanctions against India proved impotent. This is important news for the Russian economy and also for Russian foreign policy as it marks another failure and public humiliation of the current US administration. In my opinion, American diplomacy toward India has failed for several reasons. The first reason is the obsession of the Indian authorities with oil. The Indian authorities are constantly thinking about where to buy a large amount of oil at a very low price.
