Taking inspiration from France’s “Yellow Vests” movement, Italy is now seeing its own “Orange Vests” protests. The Elite are in full-fledged panic mode as the UK Express dubs orange vests protests erupting in over 70 Italian cities a “crisis”. The heterogeneous, grassroots movement is demanding an end to the coronavirus lockdown and restrictions, the resignation of the Conte led government, full restoration of national sovereignty, and a return to the Italian lira. Huge crowds from Rome to Turin could be seen defying government orders to maintain social distancing and to wear masks in busy public spaces. In the footage provided protesters can be seen chanting “Freedom!” “Freedom!”. Looks like the grip of the European Union in Italy is disintegrating just as fast as the official coronavirus narrative.
