The Likud Party in Israel has historically relied on the U.S. Military and U.S. taxpayer to obtain pace for them with their Arab neighbors in the middle east INSTEAD of first solving the Palestinian issue by ending the occupation and giving them a sovereign state in those territories (Gaza Strip, West Bank, & East Jerusalem) and then they will obtain pace with their Arab neighbors in the Middle East. The latter strategy most approximates the ideology of the Labor party in Israel. However, October 7th has likely shifted their ideolog more closer to that of the Likud Party.
