Hi Sandman, I just came across an article that you could use on one of your videos and it really upset me. It seems that only when things affect women are there laws to be changed. What about men having to register for a draft but women don't, but women still get to vote? What about women having lower standards in the military and police force but still get paid the same as men? What about the law that women serve less time in jail for the same crimes as men? How insidious is that? What about men usually having no other option but to work? But women have option to have a beta man provider to have a husband and she can be a stay at home house wife. But we live in a society that now requires equal pay for equal work, to equal pay for "substantially similar" work. These laws are always in favor of women. It just doesn't make sense that these other issues that affect men none of the laws are being changed. Thank you Sandman." in this west coast state the government wants to narrow the wage gap between employees that have quote unquote: "Substantially similar" work. The plan is to allow female employers free to ask and talk about the pay that male employees receive with their bosses but the law will protect females from retaliation from the employers. According to the article: "The law would not require employers to share their salary data to help women compare their salaries to their male counterparts if they ask for it. But some women are already complaining and saying that they want the data without having to ask. What they are asking for is the right to size up the men at work and compare their pay to what they receive. If this happens I hope women also learn to count because they will see that their male counterparts probably put in far more overtime. But women don't see overtime they only see money. Money means status for women and that's really what they want. So when they see that men get paid more then women they think men have more status then women so it makes women angry. They don't care if a man works sixty hours a week versus their forty hours. The gender
pay gap should be changed to the status pay gap because that's really what it's about. When women say they want to get paid the same amount of money as a man for a particular job what they really want is for all jobs to pay the same regardless of how much effort the individual employee makes. This has been tried in communist Russia and eventually that system failed. We can't pay everyone the same amount of money for different amounts of labor. That's what women are saying when they don't like the gender pay gap. Women are saying they want the privileges, titles, status and money bestowed upon men but without the responsibilities and duties associated with those unearned rewards. But it won't matter because the pay gap will always exist. Men will always invent new ways of doing things and women are mostly stuck emulating what already exists.
