I am extremely pleased to see that the England and Scotland football players are wearing their poppies with pride.

Tonight's group stage match for the World Cup Qualifiers Group is currently taking place at Wembley stadium.

FIFA told the players they were not allowed to wear the poppy, despite the match falling on Armistice Day, a day on which we remember our war heroes.

In an act of defiance, the players are wearing poppies on their armbands.

Well done boys and good luck in tonight match!
