Kevin Fulton was from a nationalist background in Northern Ireland, he joined the British army and was recruited by British Intelligence to infiltrate the IRA. He was later set up by British Intelligence to be executed by another agent named Stakeknife aka Freddy Scappaticci and turned his back on his handlers, later writing the book "Unsung Hero" which tells of how the British fought a dirty war in Ireland, even allowing attacks, shootings and executions go ahead with the likelihood that the people carrying out some of these attacks being agents / informers themselves.
