Hi Sandman, Today I encountered a somewhat interesting situation, and it got me thinking back to MGTOW. I was at a small restaurant today and noticed several couples around me that seemed to all have something in common. They were all girls around 7/10 to 9/10 paired with guys around 3/10 to 5/10. It was a small restaurant of maybe 11 tables, and I counted 5 young couples ALL with this interesting physical mismatch. All the other customers in the restaurant were elderly and pre-MGTOW, so they looked fairly equally paired in terms of physical appearance. Now let me describe briefly about the ratings. My brother and I used to rate people's physical appearances for fun using a 1-10 rating system but it had to follow a normal distribution. This is because the general population should more or less be modelled well by a normal distribution. You are very rarely going to get the very ugly at 1, and universal beauties at 10. Most will be in the average range. We used this rating system with this statistical understanding in mind, so we rarely gave out 8s 9s or 10s. Statistically speaking, an 8 would be 2/100, or the most attractive person in large classroom; a 9 would be about 1/1000, or the most attractive person in a school; a 10 would be about 1/100000, which starts to get into celebrities, models, or some kind of universal beauty where most of everyone can agree on the absolute attraction. One girl in the restaurant, I would give a 9 rating to. I live in an area of small towns - I've seen her at the gym quite a few times, so the 1/1000 chance is not unrealistic. It would mean she is top 3 in the population of a small town. She's the type that could be popular or viral on social media with an absolute gift of a face and body. She was paired with a 4. Later on, another couple walked in. I would give the young woman a 7. Fairly attractive, and looked like she works hard for her body. She was paired with a 3. The guy was an overweight slob with equally terrible clothing on. He sat right up against his chair with his shirt pinned up against the back of the chair so everyone could see his hairy back and bum. All other couples in the room could be described in a similar way. One other thing to mention is that, to me, it didn't seem like the men were happy. They looked exhausted. None of them were dressed at all either. The entire time at the restaurant, I was intrigued to wonder if this could be a MGTOW trend of some sort. Keep in mind I'm in a small town currently, so this might skew the population a bit where entertainment and night life isn't quite present, which reduces the number of "sugar daddy" type Alpha males. The trend I'm seeing is women settling for less. To me, in the face of MGTOW, I don't see women changing their ways, at least not at this point in time. Young women are still going to have their fun with Alpha males, but as they approach the wall, they lean towards settling down, and the Alpha Males and Zeta Males going MGTOW, women are left with not just Beta Males to choose from, but the less attractive Beta Males. I feel this trend could work because Beta Males in the 3-5 rating would be more willing to make the sacrifices if they're paired with 7-9 women.
