Demonstrators from across Southern California descended on Pacific Beach Sunday in open defiance of government warnings concerning COVID-19. Trucks and motorcycles joined protesters who boisterously chanted and carried signs that read everything from: “I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery” to “Herd immunity is the only solution” to “I just want to surf”. Gatherers are demanding an immediate end to the oppressive, authoritarian Coronavirus restrictions and ongoing economic suicide.
