A nation state as duplicitous and fickle as Israel will turn on the United States in a nanosecond if we forsake them diplomatically. The long standing goals of Netanyahu and Likud are to 1. Ethnic Cleansing of the occupied Territories, Annexation of those territories,, and complete colonization of those areas. 2. Regional Dysfunction and the destabilization of ALL hostile regimes in their neighborhood 3. When #2 is accomplished, they can begin their indefinite border expansion and achieve "Eretz Israel" (Greater Israel). All of the state-sponsors of terror and Islamist countries would be deposed and Israel will therefore never feel the pressure to compromise with the Palestinian's, withdrawal from the occupied territories, and concede autonomous statehood for the Palestinian's. The terror organizations are externally funded and would not survive very long after the state sponsors are eliminated. This is why Iran must go. They are also Israel's greatest impediment to regional hegemony and control over the Persian Gulf, where 70% of the World's oil is produced.
