Professor Johan Giesecke, one of the world’s most senior epidemiologists and advisor to the Swedish Government, First Chief Scientist of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, and an advisor to the Director General of the WHO, lays out the following points in a recent interview conducted by Unherd.
- Lockdown policies are NOT evidence based
- Shutdowns are causing great harm with little to no discernible benefit
- Border closures, school and business closings, social distancing – not scientifically based
- Honing in on the vulnerable, as opposed to the healthy, will lead to herd immunity as a “by-product”
- The Imperial College Paper, the basis of UK Lockdown policies, is NOT scientifically published, NOT peer reviewed, and has proven to be disastrously wrong in its highly over-inflated pessimistic projections

- Covid-19 is a “mild disease” similar to a severe flu season
