Abby Martin, discusses a new investigation by the New York Times into the U.S. Meat Animal Research Center, and its disturbing practices of experimenting on animals from pigs to cattle. Abby then speaks with Jay Johnson, Organizer with the group No New Animal Lab, to discuss the University of Washington’s plans to expand animal testing at its facilities and how the group is fighting back. Abby then talks to Rutgers Professor, Gary Francione, about the concept of animal abolition and why there really is no humane way to slaughter animals.
