The man-hating culture is prevalent in Toronto, and I've observed that women in Toronto are responsible for the man-hating society we have today through mechanisms such as feminism, gynocentrism and anti-male laws and societal rules. Sandman, what is your take on the anti-male culture which is propagated by many women in Toronto? In other words, why are women in Toronto such man-haters? Kindly remove my name, and just say I'm student at Ryerson University. My fear of getting expelled shows how much Toronto is a man-hating society. And Cheers." Well Mr. Anonymous women in Toronto I think the root of the coldness that men experience here in Toronto from women comes from four major sources. Those include the size of the city, the prevalence of feminism in the education faculties, the weather, multiculturalism and the Old British cultural hangover that remains from the British Empire. Bigger cities also put more pressure and expectations on men from women. Therefore cities like Toronto, New York, Washington, San Francisco, London, Syndney, Melbourne, Los Angeles and Chicago all have uptight female populations. And they appear to have man hating culture. But it's not a man hating culture for the men at the top. It's only man hating culture for men in the middle and the bottom. When I went to Ryerson I met girls that were interested in dating back then. But I was the exception to the rule because I had a car, a job and worked out. But there were guys that were overweight, pimple covered, thin and scrawny and they didn't get any female attention. I just think that the natural part about being in a big city is that there are more people to choose from so people living in a large metropolis are less likely to settle. And if someone approaches them and asks them out below their standard they generally get angry and upset. For most of history people lived in villages and small towns and there were rarely any large cities. So women and men got together closer to social standing and appearance. When there was less choice for partnerships there was less hostility towards the opposite sex. But here in Toronto, because it's so multicultural there are men from all over the world for women to choose from. Why choose a local boy if as a woman you can meet a man with a sexy English or Australian accent? So like I said choice makes people more picky and then they become more easily offended when people they would never choose come up to them and ask them out.
