Star wars, star trek, Star gate, close encounters and countless others have sparked the imagination of millions for decades. Scify fantasy is a great genre, and really allows the imagination to run wild with dreams of space travel and fantastic adventures to other worlds. All to often we find life imitating art, so can our fantasies about space travel become reality? Nasa wasn’t exactly the thing of dreams and fantasy. It was business as usual for the American superpower, and always left us proud of human achievement, but never gave us a promise of actual space travel and adventure, save for the trips to the moon and the orbiting space station now and then. But now we have Space force, and the name alone gives one a sense of classic outer space story telling. Cowboy space pilots traversing the galaxy trying to survive the vacuum of space, and perhaps save a few planets from evil species dead set on destruction and chaos. Space force is now one year old and we are not quite reaching our sci-fi dreams yet..
